Simple Strips of Paper: Pumpkin Ornament DIY

Do you remember making these in grade school? I think that I made Christmas Ornaments in school - but really a pumpkin shape works here just as well. These would be so fun to make and put up around the house.

The quick and dirty tutorial: Cut one strip 1"x6" (strip A), two strips 1"x7" (strip B), two strips 1"x9" (Strip C), two strips 1"x11" (Strip D). Arrange them in this manner: DCBABCD. Tap them on a table so all of the ends touch -> Staple this or use a clip like I did. Now just gather all of the tops, line them up, and clip them as well. Decorate the top as desired.
Recipe:
Card stock: Garden Green
Designer Paper: Pumpkin Pie Prints DS Paper (retired)
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, 1/2" square punch, black hemp twine, small clips from the clips assortment.

OMGosh...this is fabulous! I've never seen one like this or made one. I'm off to see what kind of paper I have in my craft room to whip one up right now.
