Wedding scrapbook pages in MDS

Some beautiful photographs from our friend's wedding back in February.  Jeff and Laraine were married in Komoka and the reception was in Strathroy (Uptown Cafe - awesome!!!).  I have been dying to scrapbook some wedding photos - I had this layout in my head for a while and I am so happy to finally get it scrapped.  What do you think - do you like the layouts?

To get the effect of the designer paper on the bottom 1/4 of the layouts I did this.  First - the base of the layout is a 12x12 piece of Baja Breeze card stock.  Then I added on some beautiful vine stamps - and I changed the colour to Baja Breeze.  Now, normally you wouldn't be able to see the stamps because they would fade into the background so what I did was just altered the "shading" on the stamped images - so really all you're seeing here is just the shading on the stamps and not the actual stamps themselves.

It's a great way to make a monochromatic background paper - very subtle and very pretty.   I did the same technique on these layouts if you want to take a look:

I love the effect you created at the bottom of the pages with the shadows!

Hi! I love the effect of the shadows on this LO! Did you use the "shadow stamping? technique to do your drop down shadows or how did you "alter" their shading? Can you point me to a tutorial? I LOVE your stuff!
