Saturday Scrapbook Challenge for

Here is your Saturday Scrapbook Sketch Challenge for all My Digital Studio fans that I'm setting up on This is our fourth challenge and I'm so happy that so many people are finding inspiration in these sketches. Everything used in the sample above is core to the My Digital Studio software.

On this layout the large round image behind the photos is a stamp from the "frames with a flourish" brush set that comes with MDS that I enlarged then changed to 20% opacity.  The ribbon is actually just long cropped pieces of the "stripe" designer paper.  The font is called Gentle Readhead available from (free).

Sketches are meant to be a starting point for inspiration - feel free to copy this completely or use it as inspiration for your own unique layout.  There is no time limit for these challenges, I just want to challenge people to use MDS more frequently.

If you participate in this challenge upload your finished layout on the website and please use the tag "ScrapSketch04" in your tag line at the web.  If you would like to see all of the layouts that were inspired by this layout please click here to see the ScrapSketch04 Gallery.

This is the layout that I created based on the sketch.  Using the My Digital Studio software, I used a bunch of designer papers from the "Christmas Cheer" kit that was just released this week.  The ribbons are all from the Taffeta Ribbon collection.  The super large background stamp is from the "Friends 24/7" brush set that comes with the software - I filled it in with Marina Mist then changed the opacity to 25%.  The word "celebrate" is also from the Christmas Cheer kit.  Hope that you like this beautiful simple layout!
